Family Fun Rafting
Tongariro River Grade 2
Fun filled rapids, which makes this one of New Zealand's best family rafting adventures. There are more than 20, boulder-strewn rapids to test your teamwork. The level of difficulty is easy- moderate, but consistent - grade 2 rapids from start to finish. As you drift between rapids you may glimpse the rare native blue duck (Whio) and rainbow trout, which are plentiful in the deep, clear pools.
