Winemaking
Riesling Botrytised wine can only be made occasionally in very favourable conditions and the 1999 vintage presented the opportunity to produce a small quantity of this special dessert wine.
Released in 375ml bottles in small quantities, the wine has already received a prestigious accolade, winning a Gold Medal at The International Wine and Spirit Competition, London, 2001.
A classic sweet golden riesling, ripe and oily with great depth. Luscious dried apricot, orange marmalade and citrus blossom characters. A very happy balance between botrytis and fruit. The wine has excellent ageing potential. Fresh citrus and lime flavours.
